Meet Dr. Gordon
About Me
Dr. Allison Lisa Gordon is an accomplished executive, entrepreneur, and former public servant with extensive experience in organizational leadership, public policy, economic development, disaster recovery, process improvement, and community development. She is the President and co-owner of Cruzan Organix, Inc., a telecommunications and broadband infrastructure company headquartered in Georgia and serving communities throughout the Southeast. Under her leadership, Cruzan Organix has grown into a mission-driven company that builds, maintains, and upgrades critical telecommunications infrastructure while helping address the digital divide in rural and underserved communities.
Dr. Gordon holds a Ph.D. in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change and an MBA and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Professional. Her leadership experience includes serving as a Senator in the 33rd Legislature of the U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as holding senior government positions involving economic research, public policy, emergency management, workforce programs, and disaster recovery. She combines this strategic and analytical background with an entrepreneurial approach focused on operational efficiency, responsible financial management, innovation, and measurable results.
At the heart of Dr. Gordon’s leadership philosophy is the belief that successful businesses can achieve profitability while creating meaningful social impact. Through Cruzan Organix, she is committed to expanding digital access, developing opportunities for women and young people in STEM, supporting small and underserved communities, and creating pathways for other entrepreneurs and skilled telecommunications professionals. Her work reflects a commitment to building not only stronger infrastructure, but stronger and more resilient communities.
